Tekno Denies Receiving N1 Billion Royalties from Kizz Daniel's "Buga"

Nigerian singer Tekno has refuted claims that he received a staggering N1 billion in royalties from his collaboration with Kizz Daniel on the hit song "Buga."

A blog post, allegedly quoting Tekno, stated that Kizz Daniel splits 50% of the song's revenue with him, resulting in a close-to-billion-naira payout after the "Buga" tour and continuing monthly millions.

However, Tekno took to his social media platform (X) to dismiss the interview entirely, calling it "fake." He further discredited the claims by stating that Kizz Daniel doesn't even have enough money (his words: "Him money no reach") to pay him such a sum. Tekno concluded his post with a strong condemnation of whoever fabricated the interview.

This clarifies the situation surrounding the alleged royalty payout and confirms that the information is false.
