Stanley Dimgba, a former Enyimba diminutive winger has returned to the People's Elephant after a brief spell with Abia Warriors on return from Europe, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.


Dimgba  was on the payroll of of the nine-time NPFL title winners between 2017--2020 before a move to Stellenbosch of South Africa's Premier Soccer League, PSL side.

The winger spent two seasons with the newly promoted PSL side (2020/2021 and 2021/2022 seasons) before a move to Libyan side, Darnes FC. 

Dimgba took his career to Bangladesh side, Sheikh Jamal DC where he spent the 2023/2024 season before returning to Nigeria to sign for Abia Warriors for the 2024/2026 season.

 Exclusivenews.com.ng checks reveal that Dimgba has returned to the two time African Champions for the 2025/2026 domestic campaign which kicks off on 22 August, 2025.

The 32-year-old is currently with Nigeria's most decorated club who are involved in the Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico/Select Preseason Tournament that comes to an end on Saturday, 9 August, 2025.

"Dimgba is back to Enyimba. He's part of the team at the Tico/Select Preseason Tournament here in Aba", an official of the club confirmed when called up by Exclusivenewts.com.ng.

"He's one of the experienced players that will bolster the team in the coming 2025/2026 NPFL season", the official gleefully added.
