Bohemian FC of Republic of Ireland midfielder, Simone Reilly has expressed delight with the experience she has garnered so far in Nigeria’s Falconets camp as the team continue to prepare for the 2024 U20 FIFA women’s World Cup in Colombia.

The 16 year old who was born to an Irish Father and a Nigerian Mother was named in the 32 Women provisional list released by Head Coach, Christopher Danjuma ahead of the preparations for the U20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.

In her words” I am extremely delighted with my experience in the Falconets set up.”

It has always been my dream to play for Nigeria despite the fact that I am eligible to play for Republic Ireland Nigeria has always been a No. 1 choice.”

I am working very hard to convince my coaches, and my goal is to make final squad of the World Cup in Colombia.”

Reilly further added she has no regret turning down Republica Of Ireland invitation to choose Nigeria as that has always been her major objective.

Arsenal and West Ham Women’s teams are currently monitoring and keeping their eyes on the 16 years old.
