Chairman Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, 3SC, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan David Akoro has been appointed into Nigeria Premier Football League Board

The enigmatic leader whose tenure has heralded a new lease of life for the fans of Oluyole Warriors for his expertise and result-oriented drive.

Though, narrowly missed out of the continental showpiece last season,the teeming fans of Ibadan Soccer lords still firmly believe in him and solidly behind the management with the stadium filled to the brim at every home match. The hitherto run away fans have all returned to watch their darling team under him

The announcement which was made on Sunday, 1st of September, 2024 at the meeting of Club Owners held in Abuja stimulated ecstasy in the ancient city of Ibadan to have their proud son in the Board of the Apex League.

The former Deputy Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly in his private chat with Sunday Agunbiade (Mr VAR( shortly after announcement disclosed that he was elated to have been considered for such exalted post. According to former footballer, he said:

"I am also pleased to inform you that I have just been officially appointed as a member of the (NPL) Nigeria Premier League Board.
I sincerely appreciate your support at all times".

Congratulating the enigmatic leader, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN, Oyo State Chapter has sent their official congratulatory message to the Chairman while other critical stakeholders have inundated him with  messages to wish the kind hearted football administrator the best of time on his new appointment
