The curtains have fallen on the 8th edition of the Sheroes Cup, and once again, Remo Ladies FC proved their dominance, emerging as back-to-back champions after an impressive campaign in Abuja.

The Ogun State-based side displayed consistency, resilience, and attacking brilliance throughout the week-long pre-season tournament, finishing top of the table with 13 points from five matches.

Remo Ladies, who entered the competition as defending champions, sealed their title defense with a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Confluence Queens in their final fixture. The result capped off a near-perfect run — four wins and one draw — leaving them unbeaten with a remarkable +13 goal difference, a testament to their attacking firepower and solid defensive setup.

The triumph marks another milestone in the club’s rise under head coach Mathew Wemimo, reinforcing Remo Ladies’ growing status as one of the top sides in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL).
Hot on the champions’ heels were Ekiti Queens, who also enjoyed a strong outing. They rounded off their campaign with a 1–0 victory over Naija Ratels, finishing second with 11 points and a healthy +8 goal difference.

Led by experienced midfielder Amarachi Okoronkwo, the Ekiti side impressed with tactical balance, discipline, and fluid teamwork, earning recognition as one of the most improved sides of the tournament.
Hosts Naija Ratels, despite their energetic and dominant displays, struggled to convert chances in key moments and settled for third place with 7 points. Confluence Queens of Kogi State followed in fourth with 4 points, narrowly edging Dannaz Ladies on goal difference.

Dannaz Ladies delivered flashes of brilliance — particularly their 4–1 win over FCT Ladies on the final day — but inconsistency and defensive errors proved costly.

FCT Ladies endured a tough campaign, finishing bottom of the table with just 3 points and a –14 goal difference.
