Sex Can’t Keep a Man” — Evangelist Eucharia Anunobi Urges Women to Seek Spiritual Growth Over Seduction

Veteran Nollywood actress turned evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi, has advised women to prioritize personal and spiritual development rather than relying on sexual performance as a means to secure a man’s love or commitment.

In a candid message shared via her Instagram page, Anunobi tackled a common belief among some women that pleasing a man in bed is the key to winning his heart and leading to marriage. She argued that this mindset is not only flawed but also unsustainable.

“Ask yourself this question. You have given him all the styles there is. You have done the ‘snake in the monkey shadow,’ you have tried the ‘mosquito in a flying saucer,’ yet the man has still not proposed,” she said. “That should tell you something. Sex is not what makes a man stay with you.”

Known for her bold commentary on social issues, the actress emphasized that relationships and marriage require more than physical intimacy, pointing out that even complete sexual availability doesn’t guarantee a wedding ring or lasting commitment.

Anunobi backed her message with a scriptural reference from Romans 12:2:

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

She maintained that divine transformation, not human effort, is the key to meaningful and lasting relationships.

“It is only God that can make an individual do the right thing,” Anunobi added. “Human efforts are limited. Only God changes hearts.”

Her message has sparked conversations online, especially among young women, with many reflecting on the pressures of modern relationships and the misplaced emphasis on sexuality as a tool for emotional security.

Anunobi, who transitioned from acting to full-time ministry, continues to use her platform to challenge societal norms, especially around love, marriage, and morality in today’s world.
