Remo Stars Ladies have strengthened their squad with the signing of eight new players ahead of the 2025–26 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) season.

 

The latest additions to the team include Kehinde Ajayi, Tobiloba Sarafa, Pius Happiness, Anigowose Khafijat, and Akanji Kaosarat. The club also secured the services of two goalkeepers, Obidimma Nkiruka and Edward Favour, along with Chiamaka Ojialor.

 

These signings follow the earlier acquisition of Mega Cynthia, the club’s first recruit for the upcoming campaign.

 

Remo Stars Ladies opened their season with a goalless draw against Ahudiyannem Queens at the Umuahia Township Stadium in Umuahia.

 

The 2025–26 NWFL season officially kicked off on Wednesday, November 26.
