Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian music sensation Juma Jux have welcomed their first child — a baby boy named Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala — in Canada.

The joyful news was announced on Sunday, August 24, 2025, by Priscilla’s mother, veteran Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, who took to social media to express her gratitude for the safe delivery of both mother and baby. In a heartfelt post, she celebrated the arrival of her first grandchild, calling it a “blessing beyond words.”

“Thank you, Lord, for this beautiful gift. Welcome to the world, my prince — Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala. Congratulations to Priscilla and Juma. We are overjoyed!” – Iyabo Ojo wrote.

Priscilla and Juma Jux, whose romance captured the hearts of fans across Nigeria and Tanzania, tied the knot earlier this year. Their high-profile wedding ceremonies spanned between February and May 2025, celebrated with both Yoruba and Swahili traditions, earning widespread media attention.

In July 2025, the couple announced their pregnancy with a glamorous photo shoot. Just days before the birth, they hosted a blue-themed gender reveal party, confirming they were expecting a baby boy.

The announcement has been met with an outpouring of love and congratulations from celebrities, fans, and influencers across Africa. Social media has been flooded with celebratory messages, with hashtags like #BabyRakeem, #PriscillaOjo, and #JumaJux trending on both Nigerian and Tanzanian platforms.

Sources close to the family confirm that both Priscilla and baby Rakeem are in perfect health. The families on both sides are reportedly in high spirits, celebrating what Iyabo Ojo described as “a new chapter of joy.”

This marks another major milestone in what has been a whirlwind year for the couple — from global tours and brand endorsements to marriage and now parenthood.
