Police Blames Men Over High Rate Of Abandoned Babies
The rising cases of abandoned babies in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) are alarming, and according to Josephine Adeh, the police public relations officer (PPRO) in the FCT, men's neglect is largely to blame. Adeh pointed out that men who abandon women after getting them pregnant are contributing to this troubling trend.
To address this issue, Adeh advised men who are not ready for the responsibility of fatherhood to either avoid unprotected sex or abstain totally. This call to action is crucial in preventing child abandonment and ensuring that children receive the care and support they need.
It's worth noting that child abandonment is a serious problem that affects many children worldwide, with an estimated 140 million orphans globally, and many more children abandoned or neglected.
