“You’re dey pray kingdom come but you dey vote wicked people. You see, wetin dey kill our efficiency na say all of us dey think individually instead of institutionally like God design us. If you fit think institutionally, some of those small personal wahala go disappear. So if you dey think kingdom, e go affect the way you dey vote.”
Pastor Iren also talk say many pastors dey fear to talk about political matters because of the candidates wey some Christians dey support openly.
“Do you know say e hard for pastors to talk about these matter because you go see so-called Christians, the candidates dem dey support, and you go dey wonder if something dey wrong.”
On top moral priorities, e yan say human life suppose always come first before infrastructural development.
“From godly standpoint, some things dey priority. Before good roads, before electricity, make we value human life. We no fit dey live for country wey 100 people fit die and we go just move on.”
E further warn say society dey gradually dey insensitive to tragedy and loss of life.
“See, e dey change you. You dey change. E dey powerful for human life. You fit dey hear 300 people don die, you go just scroll. You dey change and you no even sabi. You dey change, you dey change.”
