The stage is set for an intense showdown as Likeminds Football Club of Gwagwalada, Abuja, has been drawn into Group A of the 2025 MTN/NLO Cup tournament scheduled to take place at the Bwari Township Stadium in Abuja.

 

According to the groupings released by the Secretariat of the Nationwide League One (NLO), Likeminds FC will face a tough challenge as they square up against HB Football Club, Galadima FC and Dante FC in what promises to be a fiercely contested group.

 

In Group B, Simonben FC are set for a competitive campaign as they battle Jnr Danburai, Lapai FC and S114 FC for group supremacy. Winners of both groups will advance to the final where the ultimate champions of the 2025 MTN/NLO Cup will emerge.

 

The fixtures released by the NLO Secretariat indicate that the tournament will kick off on Monday, December 8. Jnr Danburai will open hostilities against Lapai FC at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Group A clash between Likeminds FC and Dante FC at 12:00 noon. Simonben FC will confront S114 FC at 2:00 p.m., while the last game of the opening day will see HB FC face Galadima FC.

 

The grand finale of the tournament has been scheduled for December 11, when the winners of Groups A and B will lock horns for the coveted prize.
