Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, and National Security Adviser (NSA) Malam Nuhu Ribadu have been named among the 100 Most Reputable Africans for 2025. The announcement, made on Sunday by Reputation Poll International (RPI) in collaboration with the Global Reputation Forum, recognized individuals across various fields for their excellence and impact.

 

Diverse Fields of Excellence

 

The list celebrates Africans who have excelled in technology, creative industries, sports, public service, academia, and environmental advocacy. Ribadu was recognized for his leadership in strengthening Nigeria’s security framework, including coordinating successful rescue operations for kidnapping victims in the northern region.

“This is a celebration of African excellence and a call to recognise those shaping the future of the continent with their unwavering commitment to progress and innovation,” said the organisers.

The honorees were selected based on their integrity, ethical leadership, societal contributions, and global influence.

Notable Nigerian Figures on the List

Other prominent Nigerians included:

• Dr. Paul Enenche, founder of Dunamis International Gospel Church

• Mr. Cosmos Maduka, Chairman of Coscharis Motors

• Senator Gbemisola Saraki

• Bala Wunti, Group General Manager, NAPIMS

• Tony Elumelu, Chairman of the United Bank for Africa (UBA)

• Osinachi Egbu (Sinach), renowned songwriter and worship leader

Dr. Daniel Olukoya, founder of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, made his debut on the list, while Adeboye and Enenche have been honored in previous editions.

• Olukemi Badenoch, Nigerian-born British politician and leader of the UK’s Conservative Party since November 2024

• John Mahama, Ghana’s president-elect, returning for a second term

• Mo Ibrahim, Sudanese-British billionaire businessman

• Benedict Oramah, President of Afrexim Bank

Innovative Advocates and Change-Makers

Isatou Ceesay of Gambia was celebrated for her contributions to climate resilience and sustainable development through waste management and women’s empowerment. South Africa’s Karen Matsiko was recognized for her leadership in finance and corporate governance, driving innovation and growth in sub-Saharan Africa.
