Ozalla FA have continued to make giant strides in the 2024 edition of the Anambra FA Chairman's U17 Boys Football Competition with an emphatic 3-0 tumping of Young Africans in one of the Round of 16 fixtures at the Eziowelle Civic Center, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

The 2023 Neros Pharmaceuticals/Anambra FA Cup winners rained three unreplied goals into the net of the harmless Young Africans to seal their place in the quarter final rounds of the tournament.

Ezeaka Raphael scored twice in the game while  Nzube Francis scored one, to complete the 3-0 demolition job on Young Africans to cement their quarter final berth.

The Ikenna Osueke Boys are prime favourites for the tournament's top prize.

The tournament has kept Wziowelle busy as youth in the area find joy and relaxation in the tournament which has helped in unearthing talents for the Anambra U17 Youth squad as demanded by the NFF.

So far, Barrister Iyke Igbokwe, tournament coordinator, is impressed with the quality of the performance of the youngsters.

"I'm impressed with what's going on here. At least, it's making our job of selecting outstanding players wasy", Igbokwe enthused.
