Lagos State Government officials arrested five individuals, including a birthday celebrant, musician, and vendor, for allegedly obstructing traffic and creating an environmental nuisance in Ikoyi. The suspects - Ogundare Olubunmi (celebrant), Omolara Ajetumobi (event planner), Ayodele Busuyi (musician), Owoeye Adedayo (sound engineer), and Akinola Akinkunmi (vendor) - were taken into custody on Saturday for blocking Raymond Njoku Road during a birthday celebration.

According to Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources Tokunbo Wahab, the suspects will face trial in court in accordance with state laws. Wahab emphasized that no one is above the law and that disregarding state regulations will not be tolerated.
