Nigerian rap superstar and YBNL founder Olamide has issued a personal apology to Peller following a backstage mishap at his recent London concert at OVO Arena.

 

The incident occurred when an overzealous security bouncer reportedly pushed Peller aside, preventing him from meeting Asake, who was making his way to the stage. Footage circulating online showed the bouncer forcefully directing Peller into a lift area, effectively blocking his path.

 

Another clip later emerged showing Peller being stopped from meeting Olamide himself backstage, which drew criticism from fans questioning the professionalism of the security team.

 

Upon seeing the videos, Olamide reached out to Peller with a heartfelt apology, writing:

 

“Good morning, superstar. Forgive me for any inconvenience you might have gone through yesterday with the security. I just saw the video online now, when I woke up. Thanks for all you do for the culture, sending all my love.”
