The umbrella body of Abia State Indigines living in Gwagwalada, Abuja, ( Abia State Welfare Association), has celebrated with the State Governor, Dr Alex Chioma Otti for his victory over PDP and APC at the electoral tribunal in Umuahia.

The body who spoke through its President Chibuike Moses said the victory of the Governor at the tribunal has gone further to confirm that his coming to the state at this time, is the perfect will of God, and meant to emancipate the state from poor governance which has been evident since the return of democracy to the country .

The body charged the Governor to ensure that he continues the laudable  developmental works he has embarked upon, and carry all citizens of the state along in all its activities. 

The body prayed that God in his infinite mercy will give him the wisdom to stir the seat of leadership of State to fruition. They urged the Governor to always count on their support and loyalty in all his activities. 

Abia State Welfare Association Gwagwalada Abuja has been in existence in Gwagwalada for the past 30 years.
