Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has called out the organizers of the Headies Awards, claiming they failed to deliver on the car he was promised for winning the Next Rated Artiste category.

Odumodublvck won the award at the 2025 Headies ceremony in April, which included a new car as part of the prize package. Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account, the rapper questioned the organizers about the missing prize.

"I DON FORGET SAY I WIN CAR 😂 HEADIES WEY MY CAR?" he wrote.

This isn't the first time the rapper has had a public clash with the awards show. During his acceptance speech, his microphone was briefly cut off. He continued his speech regardless and later said the cut-off was a result of him mentioning Jesus Christ on stage.

After his mic was restored, he completed his speech, emphasizing that his success was proof that aspiring artists should never give up. He later posted on X, "I genuinely have no bad blood towards the headies; rather, I am grateful they put my mic back on to spread the gospel. Jesus is king."
