John Obuh, Executive Chairman of Abia Warriors FC has been named as chairman of a six-member Technical Committee of the 2025 7th edition of the annual Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico/Select Preseason Tournament, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, General Manager of Rangers is also named in the committee which includes Enyimba of Aba Team Manager, Okey Nwabeke.

Tarilaye Nwankwe, Chairman of Bayelsa United, Wales Oyewale and veteran journalist, Chigozie Chukwuleta are other members of the committee.

Ifeanyi Ekwueme, a former Super Eagles player and sponsor of the annual Preseason Tournament, confirmed the appointments exclusively to Exclusivenews.com.ng.

The 2025 edition of the Tico/Select Preseason Tournament has been scheduled to hold between August 2--9, 2025.

Enugu and Aba have been chosen as the venues for the tournament.
