The Abia State general sanitation exercise of Saturday the 27th of January in Obingwa LGA witnessed the participation of a large number of people including top dignitaries. Among the dignitaries who took part in the massive  exercise was Hon. Peter Azubuike.

 Hon.  Azubuike who was the Labor Party Candidate for Obingwa West State Constituency at the 2023 State Assembly elections in Abia State,  was  part of the dignitaries who took part in the January 27th Abia State general sanitation exercise at Opobo Junction Ogbor-Hill Obingwa LGA. 

In an interview with the media after the sanitation exercise the renowned politician bared his mind on the sanitation exercise and other issues in the polity " am  impressed with the improved level of compliance by the inhabitants and people of Obingwa for this sanitation exercise, it's a prove that the rebranding agenda of the Mayor Chief Egwuibe which is inline with that of the State Governor Dr Alex Otti is gradually sinking into the consciousness of the people". 

 

 

Hon. Azubuike also expressed his views on  Governor Otti's  resolve to bring about real positive change to Abia State, he said  "going by the decay which the State was subjected to in the first 24 years of uninterrupted democracy by the previous administrations. this Governor Otti led administration which obviously is still new is set to ensure that it takes every necessary steps to rebrand the state and bring forth the dividends of democracy to all Abians".

The next general sanitation exercise in Abia State will come up on Saturday the 24th of February 2024.
