Rivers Angels’ Mary Moses, Remo Stars Ladies’ Kafayat Bashiru, and Abia Angels’ Mary Lucky stole the headlines with treble strikes, leading their clubs to crucial victories.

In Port Harcourt, Mary Moses powered Rivers Angels to a dominant 6-0 win, scoring in the 37th, 75th, and 79th minutes. Titilayo Aweda (20′) opened the floodgates before Peace Effiong added a brace (24′, 53′), extending the unbeaten run of the Jewels of Rivers.

In Ikenne, Kafayat Bashiru starred in Remo Stars Ladies’ sixth win of the season, scoring in the 15th, 50th, and 78th minutes in a 4-0 rout. League top scorer Bolaji Olamide netted an early opener in the 10th minute, extending her streak to seven consecutive games and taking her season tally to nine goals.

At Onikan Stadium in Lagos, Mary Lucky inspired Abia Angels to a 4-1 victory over Dannaz Ladies, ending the hosts’ unbeaten home record. Funmilayo Adefuye (2′) put Abia ahead before Lucky struck in the 33rd, 41st, and 88th minutes. Opeyemi Awori (45′) pulled one back for Dannaz, but it wasn’t enough to prevent their fourth loss of the season.

    •    Bayelsa Queens extended their unbeaten run with a 3-1 away win over FC Robo Queens. Delight Isaac (13′) and Alaba Obabiyi (45′, 70′) secured the win, while Favour Nkwocha (37′) converted a penalty for FC Robo.
    •    Heartland Queens finally ended their winless streak with a 3-0 triumph over Confluence Queens in Owerri. Faith Samson (2′), Chimebere Opara (10′), and Monica Matthew (76′) sealed the first win of the season for the hosts, while Confluence Queens remain winless after seven straight losses.
    •    In Asaba, Delta Queens edged Ibom Angels in a tight contest, with Princess Adams (51′) scoring the decisive goal.
    •    Defending champions Edo Queens eased past Ekiti Queens with a 3-0 win in Benin City. Chioma Moses (12′), Mary Mamudu (56′), and Kafayat Mafisere (60′) ensured all three points.
    •    In the North Central derby in Abuja, Sofia Bankole’s 90th-minute winner secured a last-gasp victory for Naija Ratels, condemning Benue Queens to their seventh straight defeat.

Matchday 7 produced a season-high 27 goals, surpassing the previous record this campaign. With the league now on a mid-season break until March 19, 2025, teams will regroup, while the transfer window reopens ahead of Matchday 8.
