Kunle Ogunrombi, also known as K-Peace, the season 5 winner of Nigerian Idol, has made some shocking allegations against the show's organizers. According to K-Peace, the organizers failed to pay him his prize money, despite announcing on national TV that he had won N7.5 million, a brand new car, and a two-week trip to Dubai.

Speaking 10 years after his win, K-Peace expressed his frustration and disappointment, stating that he was left with zero naira in his account after the show. He even claimed that he had to go for interviews without food, despite being announced as the winner of N7.5 million.

This isn't the first time a Nigerian Idol winner has spoken out about not receiving their prize money. Moses Obi-Adigwe, the season 3 winner, also reported that he didn't receive his prize money until years after the show ².
