Hon Casmir Nwafor, Orumba North Transition Committee Chairman says he wants to replicate what he described as 'Iloenyosi Football Revolution' in Anambra State, in his local government area, Exusivenews.com.ng reports.

Nwafor spoke on the sidelines of the elaborate and glamour-filled opening ceremony of the 2024 Banatem/Anambra State Football Association All Stars Football Competition Sunday at the Awka City Stadium.

"I've set up a Football committee in Orumba North", starts the delighted Football freak. 

"Yesterday, I was with the State FA Chairman, 'General' Chikelue Iloenyosi, as we used to call him back then in Rangers.

"I want to replicate what he's been doing, his Football Revolution in the state at my local government level", Hon Nwafor disclosed.

Nwafor could not hold back his delight at the colourful opening ceremony of the 2024 Babatem/ANSFA All Stars Football Competition during which Obosi All Stars came from behind to snatch an incredible 2-1 win against defending Champions, Anambra State All Stars, Onitsha, in an extraordinary thrilling fashion, despite the light rainfall.

"I'm here first, as a Football lover. I'm here to enjoy the match and show support and solidarity to 'General' Chikelue Iloenyosi who has been tremendously well in lifting and promoting football in the state especially at the grassroot.

"I'm expressly impressed with the performance of the teams, especially the players, given their ages. Its wonderful. And I must tell you, I'll always be on hand to watch any .atch here at the Awka Stadium", a pleasantly elated Orumba North boss promised.
