The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) is set to stage a one-day Park Volleyball Fiesta in the second week of December at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

 

The Chairperson of the Park Volleyball Commission disclosed this in Abuja while speaking with a member of the Federation’s publicity team, noting that preparations are already in top gear for what is expected to be one of the most entertaining social-sport events of the year.

 

She explained that park volleyball remains a fun-loving, family-oriented version of the sport designed to bring together volleyball enthusiasts across all age groups—players, veterans, fans, and even administrators.

 

The one-day explosive event will feature three major match-ups:

1. Veterans vs. Stakeholders

2. All-Stars vs. Active Players

3. Board Members Exhibition Game

 

According to the Commission Chairperson, the Fiesta is scheduled to hold during the National Final Phase League, ensuring the presence of the NVBF President along with other board members who will also participate in the fun activities.

 

She added that the event aims not only to promote camaraderie within the volleyball community but also to strengthen the bond between the federation’s leadership, players, and supporters.
