The National Sports Commission (NSC) is set to partner with Galaxy Backbone to digitalize stadia facilities and infrastructure across Nigeria. This move is in line with the global digitalization trend and aims to get all stadia and sporting infrastructure energized and actively ICT compliant.

According to NSC Chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko, the vision is to have at least six standard and competent stadia to host international events across the six geo-political zones. This partnership will also enable the introduction of E-Games in sports centers, providing commercial benefits for young people.

Galaxy Backbone, a federal government-owned body, has provided services to all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies in terms of connectivity. The organization's Managing Director, Professor Ibrahim Adeyanju, emphasized the importance of digital transformation in sports facilities across the country.
