The four NPFL clubs for the South East came with some exciting players.
Players Spotted..
1. ENYIMBA FC:
Agada Uchechukwu
(Central Defender)
Despite being a natural center forward (Striker), Enyimba Fc Agada Uchechukwu was deployed by his coach to play in the tournament as a central defender and was also the captain of the team.
A young, tall player (6ft), good command of the ball, was the top defender in the tournament.
He is certainly a player for the future and has shown very good qualities.
*EBUKA UCHEAWGWU
Enyimba’s striker Ebuka Ucheagwu stood out for Enyimba, with 3 goals scored at the tournament.
Very confident on the ball with good shooting ability.
ABIA WARRIORS FC:
*GEORGE BASSEY:
George was a delight to watch in the courts of Abia Warriors Fc. He had a great game against Enyimba Fc and capped it up scoring two goals in the game.
The Cross River State born midfielder, is fleet footed and very pacey.
A good training programme will even help him develop more.
HEARTLAND FC:
*NNOROM MMESOMA
The lanky striker, Nnorom Mmesoma reminded me of the early days of Nigeria Football legend, Kanu Nwankwo.
He troubled every defense line he played against in the tournament.
What a top talent for the “Naze Millionaires”
He finished in the tournament scoring four (4) goals and was also the joint top scorer.
ENUGU RANGERS FC:
*IGWILLO CHIMAOBI
Igwillo was the cynosure of all eyes that watched him at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
He was everywhere, dictating the pace of the game for Enugu Rangers.
He has accurate Dribbling skills, has pace, good goal scoring abilities, and uses the ball very well.
The young Igwillo Mmesoma, scored the only hat-trick of the tournament against Enyimba F, and captained his team to glory as they emerged Champions of the South East zone of the tournament.
He was also voted the man of the match in every game he played.
He won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the tournament
