The ongoing NPFL U-17 youth league has so far witnessed good football and the discovery of talents from the various centers in the country.

At the Enugu Zone of the tournament, witnessed Nnorom Mmesoma (Heartland Fc) George Bassey (Abia Warriors Fc) & Igwilo Chizoba (Enugu Rangers Fc) were rewarded with cash gift of twenty thousand Naira (#20,000) for emerging as the man of the match (MOTM), in the games played.

Presenting the award to the recipients, chairman of the NPFL youth league, Pastor Emeka Inyama, who was also accompanied by the chairman of Anambra state football Association, Gen. Chikelue Iloenyonsi, and General manager of Enugu Rangers Fc, Barrister Amoebi Ezeaku, said the award is courtesy of V.O.A foundation, in appreciation of their talents.

Inyama urged the players to continue to perform well and avoid things that will truncate their future.

Speaking on behalf of the players, Heartland Fc player Nnorom Mmesoma, thanked the sponsor or the award, and promised  that they will always play by the rules of the game.
