A two week break has been announced for players of the Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL U-17 Youth League All-Star team.

The team is meant to reconverge on Sunday 18th August for the final preparation before their departure for the tour of Spain..

The players on the tour will further undergo trainings, and those whose capacity match the required expectations may be given professional contract by Sevilla.

This was revealed by the Assistant Coach, Ken Chuku in a post match interview with pressmen after their hard-fought 1-0 victory against Access Football Academy, Abuja

The Port Harcourt based football tactician said the team is becoming a finished product, as they won their last three games.

"Technically we are almost ready. As you can see we get better everyday, said coach Chukwu.

"This is the future of Nigeria football, the U-17, U-20 and Super Eagles players in the nearest future will emanate from these players. 

"We're going to Spain to project the image of Nigeria and the business part of it which will benefit the NPFL clubs. 

"The income into the purse of the club is one of the dividends of the initiative," concluded coach Chukwu.
