NPFL: Tony Bolus reveals Katsina United readiness for the season, says it is a work in progress
Katsina United Head coach, Tony Bolus, has said that his team fears no team in the NPFL, expressed his readiness ahead of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, which is expected to commence on September 9,
Bolus, who was appointed as the new head coach to replace Usman Abdallah, who resigned from the position due to some reasons has been working closely to get players that would hope to improve the Changi Boys squad ahead of the new football season.
Bolus who spoke with The BSNSports expressed that it is a work in progress, but that there are still areas needs to improve in the team.
" Yes, it is a work in progress, " said Bolus.
But, it is a good way to start, though we are still been flexible to see if there are areas that needs back up or converting in the team."
The former Vandrezzer FC and Yobe Desert Stars gaffer also further stated that the team has spend two weeks working together and for the players to adapt to the style of play.
" Yes, the Pre season has been good. We just spent less than two weeks working together and the players are speedily adapting to the philosophy. " Bolus concludes
