Nasarawa United bounced back from last weekend’s home defeat to El-Kanemi Warriors by securing their first NPFL victory of the season. The team fought hard to earn a 2-1 win over Ikorodu City FC at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos, last Saturday afternoon.

In Uyo, Sunshine Stars stunned Akwa United with an impressive 2-1 away victory at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, securing all three points in their NPFL Matchday 4 encounter.

Rivers United continued their dominant form with a 2-0 win over Enyimba FC in Aba, with goals from Ubong Friday and Seiyefa Jackson, further establishing their position at the top of the league.

Abia Warriors claimed their first win of the season, defeating Kano Pillars 2-0 in Umuahia, leaving Kano Pillars to suffer back-to-back losses.

At the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna, Niger Tornadoes were held to a 1-1 draw by Bendel Insurance. The match saw an early setback for the home side after Majin Mohammed received a red card in the opening minutes, disrupting their game plan.

Remo Stars maintained their unbeaten run by defeating Rangers International of Enugu 2-1, taking them to the top of the NPFL table.

Katsina United delivered a convincing 3-0 victory over Lobi Stars at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, moving them to fourth place on the NPFL log—marking their best standing since Matchday 1 of the 2020/21 season.

At the Lekan Salami Stadium, Emmanuel Amunike’s search for his first win with Heartland FC continues, as Shooting Stars secured a 1-0 victory courtesy of an Ayanrinde strike in the 21st minute.

Bayelsa United and Kwara United shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw, with Yahaya Ibrahim making an impressive debut for Kwara United in Yenagoa.
