NPFL Matchday 10: Result Against Remo Excites Onigbinde
Akinade Onigbinde, Head Coach of Doma United has expressed excitement on the performance of his boys against Remo Stars last weekend.
Onigbinde told the Sporting media that he denied himself sleep prior to the MatchDay 10 Nigeria Premier Football League game.
Onigbinde who extolled his players for playing to instructions, but uphold the heroic performance of his goalkeeper Kingdom Osayi in ensuring that they returned to Gombe with a point.
The Savanah Tigers gaffer said "I’ve not been sleeping, I’ve been watching their games and their players. I am happy that my boys lived up to expectations. We will continue to push until we achieve our aims" Onigbinde who was the former Coach of FRSC said.
Meanwhile, statistics from the game as compiled by Made in Africa Sport said that "despite making 24 attempts on goal, the Sky Blue Stars couldn't find the back of the net, resulting in a goalless draw at the Remo Stars Stadium.
"This outcome maintains the Savannah Tigers' position at the second position, having kept a clean sheet in 8 out of the 10 NPFL games this season."
Doma United are now unbeaten in 6 consecutive games as they have won 4 and drew 2 in the period which has become the longest unbeaten run in the league this season.
