Nasarawa United and Super Eagles B Team forward, Anas Yusuf, has been named as the 2024/2025 NPFL Top scorer with 18 goals, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

NPFL board Chairman, Honourable Gbenga Elegbeleye, on Friday, 13 May 2025, confirmed Yusuf as the 2024/2025 NPFL Hot-Shot Award Winner having scored the individual goals in the concluded season.

Rabiu Ali was named as the second highest scorer with 13 goals just as Abia Warriors Anthony Ijoma came third with 12 goals.

"In the concluded season, Nasarawa United’s Yusuf Anas, topped the goal scorers chart with 18 goals and was followed by veteran Rabiu Ali of Kano Pillars with 13 goals and Anthony Ijoma of Abia Warriors came 3rd with 12 goals", Elegbeleye said.

Similarly, the league boss disclosed that the 2025/2026 NPFL season will kick off on 22 August with 24 May 2026 as the date for for the last match of the season.
