According to the Graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife he said: "The deployment of secrete league assessors to monitor referees and clubs during NPFL games is a very big initiative as it's used to capture happenings at match venues.

The former Director General of National Sports Festival noted that "Sometimes we discovered that some Match Commissioners that supposed to report happenings at the match venues to us the moment they finished the match will not even send their report two to three days after the match."

"We then decided that since we cannot compel them to send their report immediately ,we need our own Secret Assessors of credible people to go to matches and give us report."

"As I speak, we have two serving Major Generals as Assessors here working with us. There was a time we send two former Secretary Generals to do Secret Assessors and they did it with visual reports and we are very satisfied with their reports. For now ,we will continue to do it as long as the league subsists." Ondo State born Football administrator assured.
