The Fix PDP Fix Nigeria group has called for a new Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman from the North Central region, outside Benue State.

Mr. Sanni Aluyi, a member of the group from Niger State, stated, "The North Central region has the capacity to produce a capable chairman. Ayu's arrogance cost us dearly in the last election. It's time for another state to lead."

The PDP had zoned the chairman's position to the North Central region. With seven states, including Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, and the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja), the region has a significant stake in Nigeria's politics.

"The North Central region deserves fresh leadership," Aluyi emphasized. "We urge party stakeholders to consider competent candidates from Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, or Plateau to revitalize our party."
