NPFL 25: Bosso Calls for Patience to Turn Around Bayelsa United

Bayelsa United head coach Ladan Bosso has urged fans to be patient as the team works to improve its performance.

Following a hard-fought match against Nasarawa United, where the Prosperity Boys secured their first away point of the 2024/2025 NPFL season, Bosso reflected on the team’s progress after Matchday Five. He expressed disappointment over not securing three points but emphasized that both teams are still developing.

“It’s unfortunate for Nasarawa United not to have taken the three points today, and likewise for us,” Bosso said in a post-match interview. “But God has His way of doing things. Both teams are a work in progress, and both Coach Dogo and I need a little time to succeed.”

He highlighted the team’s recent performances, stating that they indicate a positive trajectory. “With time, the Prosperity Boys will win games without stress,” he added. Bosso commended his youthful squad for their determination and noted that their current league position does not accurately reflect their on-field efforts.

While acknowledging the team’s struggles to convert scoring opportunities, he expressed confidence that this issue will soon be resolved. Bayelsa United’s next challenge will be against Plateau United on Sunday at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa for Matchday Six.
