A tense confrontation erupted between actresses Eniola Badmus and Laide Bakare at the premiere of "Owanbe Thieves" on Sunday, hosted by fellow actress Eniola Ajao.

The incident, which has since gone viral on social media, began when Bakare attempted to include Badmus in a video recording while both were on the dance floor. Badmus, who also serves as Special Adviser to the Speaker of the House of Representatives on Social Events and Public Hearing, reacted strongly to Bakare's camera.

"Must I be in your video? Don't film us together, we are not friends," Badmus reportedly told Bakare in a firm rebuke.

The situation quickly escalated when Bakare physically pushed Badmus and responded in Yoruba, saying, "Are you mad? What type of embarrassment is this? Are you insane?"

The altercation between the two Nollywood personalities has become a talking point across social media platforms, with footage of the exchange widely shared online.

Neither actress has issued an official statement regarding the incident as of press time.
