The Nigeria Olympic Committee, NOC, has forwarded a congratulatory message to Tobi Amusa following her victory in the 100m Hurdle at the Diamond Golden League.

NOC, in the message signed by Tony Nezianya, Spokesperson of the committee, described Amusan's Golden League win as 'exceptional'.

"Winning this prestigious championship for the second time is an exceptional feat that has undoubtedly cemented your position among the world's best athletes",the NOC message began.

''Your triumph in the face of adversity, in particular, is inspiring'', Habu Ahmed Gumel, President of the NOC, was quoted in the message to have said said of Amusan's victory.

"Many thanks for staying focused on your goal, and ultimately emerging as the undeniable champion. Your dedication, persistence and relentless hard work are truly inspiring.

"Your achievement will undoubtedly inspire countless young athletes to follow in your footsteps and pursue their dreams with determination and passion. 

''You've propelled Nigeria to greater heights, and your victory is a moment of national pride that we'll always cherish.'
