The Chairman of the Nigeria National League (NNL), Mr. George Aluo, has extended warm New Year greetings to Nigerians, expressing gratitude to God for His mercies in the outgoing year and for the gift of life into 2026.

 

In his New Year message, Aluo thanked the Almighty for guiding Nigerians through 2025 and prayed for continued divine grace in the year ahead. He expressed optimism that 2026 would bring good health, peace of mind and abundant blessings to the nation and its people.

 

“I want to say Happy New Year to all Nigerians and thank the Almighty God for seeing us through 2025,” Aluo said. “My prayer is that the Good Lord who has brought us into the year 2026 will continue to bestow on us good health, sound mind and body, and that His blessings will follow us throughout the year and beyond.”

 

The NNL chairman, who is also a member of the Executive Board of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), reaffirmed his goodwill towards Nigerians across all walks of life, while expressing hope for unity, progress and success in the new year.

 

His message comes as Nigerian football stakeholders look ahead to another year of growth and development across the nation’s leagues and football structures.
