Nigerian-South African Beauty Queen, Chidimma Adetshina, Opens Up About Pageantry Journey and Identity Struggles

Chidimma Adetshina, a beauty queen with dual Nigerian and South African citizenship, has shared her experiences with identity issues and challenges during her pageantry journey. In a recent interview on the Big Friday Show with Tacha, Chidimma spoke about her dream of becoming Miss Universe, a goal she has had since 2017.

Chidimma expressed gratitude for the opportunity to pursue her ambition and shared how she overcame her identity crisis. She described it as a "long and difficult journey" where she would often question her circumstances, but eventually shifted her perspective to see the potential for greatness emerging from those challenges.

This interview comes after Chidimma's departure from the Miss South Africa pageant, which was marred by allegations of fraud and identity theft involving her mother. Despite facing criticism in South Africa, Chidimma received an invitation to join the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, which she accepted.
