Climate Change crooner, Monday Kanu with his team of experts took time to organise a Climate Change Awareness Training workshop for Nigerian Army Signal School Headquarters, Apapa, Lagos.

The training, which was powered by his company, Vaness Integrated Resources Limited in collaboration with GreenYouth Environmental Sustainability Network (GESN), an NGO, took place on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

The Commandant of the Nigerian Army Signal Headquarters, Major General Olusegun Adesina, thanked the resource persons and the  company for choosing Nigerian Army for this great training workshop.

"I want to specially thank this team for choosing Nigerian Army for such a wonderful Awareness Training Workshop.

"The knowledge acquired will be well utilised, I can assure you.

"We are happy to associate with you and we hope this relationship will continue to wax stronger", he said.

The main lecture of the day was delivered by Dr Raimotu Akanmu, a research fellow at Lagos State University (LASU) School of Environmental Science.

Meanwhile, Monday Kanu wants to encourage other football veterans and ex-internationals to know that ideally, life actually begins after football retirement and that the entire corporate world becomes our playground and therefore we should think outside the box so as to attract opportunities.
