Thirty women coaches completed a historic three-module CAF C-License coaching course, receiving their certificates at a colorful closing ceremony in Abuja.

Organized by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), the course began in July and featured:

- Intensive classroom and on-field sessions
- Internship with clubs after each module
- Examinations at the NFF/FIFA Goal Project, MKO Abiola National Stadium

NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, urged participants to utilize their knowledge and strive for excellence.

"Don't rest on your oars. Be proactive and impact your immediate society," Gusau said.

He envisioned women coaches leading men's teams, underscoring the importance of merit-based appointments.

NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, emphasized applying the acquired knowledge and being good ambassadors.

"Apply the knowledge; don't just hold the certificate. Be good ambassadors for yourself and Nigeria," Sanusi stressed.

This milestone marks a significant step forward for women's football development in Nigeria.
