The President of FC One Rocket based in Uyo, *Honourable Nse Ndofot Essien* has showered encomiums on NPFL board Chairman, Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye for transforming and improving the Nigeria top flight league.

The board member from Akwa-Ibom State revealed this during an interview session on one of the fast growing Whatsapp Platforms (Sports World) 

Speaking on why Nigeria best teams don't perform well on the continent, he said;

"That is why it is always important to allow the better team to win in every football match, that's when you have true representative from the Nigeria League but thankfully, there is great improvement like I have said earlier on this season, thanks to the Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye (Chairman NPFL Board) and leaders of the other leagues. 

The soft spoken administrator further revealed that the NFF President, Alh. Ibrahim Gusau has promised to train the referees on the use of advance technology.

"On the issue of VAR and advance technology, the President has promised that our referees are going to be trained on this, consultation are going with CAF and FIFA. He revealed

Udofot was part of the NFF delegation to Coted'viore for AFCON 2023 where the Super Eagles of Nigeria won Silver medal.
