The Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA), FCT Chapter, has officially announced the groupings and opening fixtures for the highly anticipated 2025 NNL Pre-Season Competition, following the draw held yesterday.

 

The tournament, designed to prepare clubs for the upcoming Nigeria National League (NNL) season, features eight clubs drawn into two competitive groups.

 

Group A:

• City FC

• Pride FC

• Derby FC

• Coal City FC

 

Group B:

• EFCC FC

• Assess FC

• My Hope FC

• Likes Mind FC

The pre-season tournament will commence on Monday, 14th October 2025, promising a full day of intense action and talent showcase at the grassroots level.

 

Opening Day Fixtures:

• City FC vs Pride FC – 8:00 AM

• Derby FC vs Coal City FC – 10:00 AM

• EFCC FC vs Assess FC – 12:00 PM

• My Hope FC vs Likes Mind FC – 2:00 PM

 

Organizers have indicated that more fixtures will be announced before the day ends as the tournament format and knockout stages are finalized.

 

The NFCA FCT Chapter called on football lovers, scouts, and stakeholders to come out in numbers to support their local clubs and witness the future stars of Nigerian football in action.

 

The competition is expected to provide a platform for tactical preparations, squad testing, and building team chemistry ahead of the 2025 NNL campaign.
