The registrar of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) emphasized the importance of maintaining focus and dedication as they advance in their careers.
She cautioned that unethical practices are strictly prohibited in the medical profession, and any practitioner who violates ethical standards will face appropriate consequences.
She stated, "While medical practice may not always be financially rewarding, practitioners earn respect in society due to their role in preserving lives and contributing to humanity."
She further urged them to challenge themselves, noting that they have acquired knowledge that must now be applied in practical situations.
"Let integrity guide your actions. It is essential to demonstrate the right attitude, remain diligent, and seek a second opinion when necessary," she advised.
