Nigerian senator and businessman Ned Nwoko, who is married to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has compared monogamy to “standing on one leg,” arguing that polygamy offers greater balance and stability.

The lawmaker made the remark during an interview with Seun Okinbaloye on Channels TV on Sunday night, while discussing his views on marriage and polygamy.

Nwoko, who is currently facing reports of a marital crisis with his fourth wife, Regina Daniels, said he feels pity for men who have only one wife.

“Just imagine telling you to stand on one leg — you know how difficult it is. But it is much more balanced to stand on two, three, or four,” he said.
“I feel sorry for those with one wife. I don’t have any regrets, and I would do the same thing again.”

His comments come amid ongoing controversy surrounding his marriage to Regina Daniels. The actress recently went viral after allegedly accusing the senator of domestic violence in a leaked video.

In response, Nwoko reportedly accused Regina of substance abuse, further fueling public speculation about their relationship.

Adding to the rumours, Regina shared a photo on her Instagram page on Sunday evening, standing on the balcony of what appears to be a new house. The picture, captioned “I needed a roof over my head,” sparked widespread speculation that she may have moved out of her marital home and possibly acquired a new residence in Lagos State.
