Ned Nwoko Alleges Regina Daniels’ Family Members Arrested After Hotel Dispute in Abuja
Nigerian lawmaker Senator Ned Nwoko has alleged that some of his wife, Regina Daniels’ family members, were arrested by the police following a dispute at a hotel in Abuja, according to a report by The Cable on Monday, November 24, 2025.
Nwoko shared the account during a gathering of the Kay Hikers Club, a social club popular among young people.
The incident reportedly occurred while Daniels was staying at the hotel for several days with her friends and family members. During the stay, the group engaged in extended socialising, including drinking and smoking, which led to tensions with other hotel guests.
According to Nwoko, the situation escalated when Daniels claimed she had been physically assaulted by another guest, prompting her to call him for intervention. He stated that Daniels reacted by blocking the hotel’s main gates with her vehicles, preventing people from entering or leaving the premises.
“The actions created a tense environment, attracting attention from hotel management and other guests,” Nwoko said.
The senator added that he declined his wife’s request for personal intervention, opting instead to allow authorities to handle the matter.
The report highlights concerns over public disturbances and law enforcement involvement following high-profile disputes, though further details about the arrested family members and any legal proceedings have not been confirmed.
