Nasarawa United secured a crucial 1-1 draw against Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano on Sunday, keeping their survival hopes alive in the Nigerian Premier League. The Solid Miners showed grit and determination on the road, battling against the drop in a keenly contested match-day 29 encounter. 

Kano Pillars took the lead in the 18th minute through Auwalu Malam's goal, assisted by league legend Rabiu Ali 'Pele'. However, Nasarawa United pushed for an equalizer and were rewarded in the 68th minute when Idris Ajiya scored a powerful header, courtesy of a superb assist from substitute Benjamin Jack. This was Jack's fourth goal for Nasarawa United since joining the team during the season's break. 

The draw keeps Nasarawa United's survival hopes alive, although they remain in 17th position with 30 points. Kano Pillars, meanwhile, sit in 6th position with 42 points.
