Head coach of Abia Comets FC Kelvin Ejeh has given a thumb up to the organizers of the on going  NNL club Owners and managers pre-season tournament holding in Jos, Plateau State, saying that the tournament will give participating teams the opportunity to get a complete assessment of their teams, before the commencement of the League on 28 October. 

Ejeh, whose team got the journey in the tournament underway  with a draw against Mighty Jets FC at the New Jos Stadium, said his young team will use the tournament to assert themselves into what the league would look like. "most of the players we have are new in League football, we sincerely appreciate the organizers and the management of Abia Comets for giving us the opportunity to be part of the tournament"  Ejeh said the team is surely a work in progress.

based outfit control in the game. Just before the end of the first half  Mighty Jets FC restored parity. The score line remained that way until the
last blast of the whistle.
The Umuahia based outfit will face Raban FC on Tuesday at 1PM
