Nigerian singer Davido has credited his father's teachings on faith for helping him stay motivated in the face of adversity. In a recent podcast interview with Rollingout, Davido shared how his Christian upbringing and his father's lessons on trusting God have impacted his life.

Davido recalled how his father, a successful businessman and church elder, taught him not to question God's plan. He admitted that he initially struggled with this concept, especially after facing personal tragedies, including the loss of his son Ifeanyi.

However, Davido said that his father's words eventually made sense when he experienced a series of blessings, including the birth of twins, a successful album, and his first Grammy nominations. He concluded that trusting in God's plan has helped him navigate life's challenges.
