The Honourable Minister of State for the Ministry of Steel Development, His Excellency Uba Maigari Ahmadu, led a significant engagement on Tuesday, 30th July 2024, in Jalingo, Taraba State. The meeting included Taraba APC leaders, as well as community and religious leaders, to address the citizens of Taraba and persuade them not to participate in the proposed nationwide protest.

During the engagement, Minister Ahmadu emphasized that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration is diligently working to address the myriad of challenges facing the country. He assured the attendees that the government is implementing measures to improve the nation's situation and urged patience and cooperation from the public.

The Minister also enumerated the potential negative impacts of such protests, highlighting how they could further destabilize the country's progress. He urged the citizens of Taraba to support President Tinubu's efforts to achieve sustainable economic growth and development. Minister Ahmadu stressed the importance of unity and collective effort in overcoming the nation's difficulties and called for the community's trust in the administration's commitment to creating a better future for all Nigerians.
