Veteran Coach, Manu Garba has heaped plaudits on Campos FC, Owerri, following their enthralling performance during the two-day U17 National Team Scouting Program which came to a fitting end Thursday at the Awka City Stadium, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

The exercise, which began on Wednesday, January 22, was organised by the Anambra State Football Association, ANSFA, under the chairmanship of 'General' Chikelue Iloenyosi, an ex Nigeria international.

Garba, 59, observed the tedious exercise from a vintage position despite the multitude of clubs and players that took part in the Scouting Program.

The former BCC Lions of Gboko, El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri and Gombe United player during his illustrious playing career, spoke to Exclusivenews.com.ng on the two-day exercise, highlighting the exceptional performance of Campos FC during the Program.

"I've seen a couple of players during the exercise. I've also seen some players in the Campos team. And I'm impressed the way they played as a team", Garba said.

"Overall, if the players pass the Magneti Resonance Imaging (MRI) test, they have the potential to make it at the National level.

"We must give credit to Chief Chikelue Iloenyosi for making our coming here possible. We've come, we've seen and we hope to be back again for the U20 Flying Eagles".

He commended the club's and players for coming for the scouting Program, adding that those who were not lucky to be selected should not feel bad but have the believe that they could be lucky next time.
